The SAFT 2LSH20GP battery supplies the AP2C. This is a set including 2 elements (liquid cathode lithium thionyl chloride Li-SOCl2).
This battery has the reference 2LSH20GP.
It is a liquid cathode, lithium thionyl chloride (Li-SOCL2) battery.
The LSH20 battery can operate in extreme temperature conditions and preserves its electrical characteristics after several years of storage in severe conditions.
This battery allows approximately 1000 samples with the S4PE.
The test scraper, mounted on the S4PE, enables an operational check of the AP2C.
It is impregnated with a substance which, when heated and vaporized by the S4PE activates AP2C’s display indicators (G,V and HD,V) lighting up.
The scrapers are supplied in a box of 10. They are protected with a cover. They can be opened and the scrapers used one by one.
The boxes of scrapers can be stored unopened for 10 years.
Scrapers can be used 3 to 5 times.
They differ from the sampling scrapers because they are blue (sampling scrapers are black).
The sampling scrapers, mounted on the S4PE, enable persistent chemical agents sampling. The heating evaporates absorbed materials to be analyzed by the AP2C.
