Saint-Cyr-l’École, France, September 2026 — During Eurosatory 2026, Proengin signed a contract amendment with the French Defence Procurement Agency (Direction générale de l’armement – DGA) at its booth. The amendment has now been finalized by both parties, marking a new step in the long-standing cooperation between the DGA and the French defence industry in a strategic field: CBRN detection and decision support.

Against a backdrop of geopolitical tensions and rapidly evolving threats, maintaining sovereign CBRN capabilities is a strategic priority for both France and Europe. By working with a French SME within the country’s Defence Industrial and Technological Base (BITD), this cooperation helps preserve critical industrial expertise developed, manufactured, and supported in France, while contributing to French and European strategic autonomy.

The amendment, signed by Hugo S. on behalf of the DGA and Jérôme Le Bris, Sales Director at Proengin, with the support of Jean-François Brun, President of Proengin Group, expands the scope of the existing contract to include new solutions developed by Proengin to address emerging operational requirements.

These solutions open the way to new capabilities in areas including CBRN protection, drone-based threat detection and the aggregation of data from multiple sensors. The amendment enables the French Armed Forces to access these new capabilities under the existing contractual framework.

For Proengin, the agreement reflects the DGA’s renewed confidence in the company and reinforces its position as a key French industrial partner for CBRN threat detection and management.

This amendment confirms the relevance of this evolution and reflects the commitment we share with the DGA: protecting forces, people, assets and critical infrastructure,” said Jean-François Brun, President of Proengin Group.
